Our Berlin campus is currently seeking a part-time (15hrs/week) SK Program Coordinator which provides support to the Children’s weekend services and events.

Must be fluent in German and English.

Primary Duties:

Programming

  • Responsible for implementing age-appropriate interactive activities, crafts, and programs that reinforce the curriculum provided by Campus Support
  • Download, duplicate and prepare printable and digital materials for the weekend program
  • Purchase non-digital resources like toys, games, and craft supplies
  • Weekly set-up and tear down of classrooms, ensuring an age-appropriate environment for weekend services
  • Maintain the SK space for cleanliness
  • Interact with children, parents, and volunteers
  • Conflict resolution as needed
  • Maintain SK storage areas

Volunteer Coordination

  • Oversee weekend interaction between volunteers, children, and parents
  • Provide coaching and feedback
  • Identify strong classroom leaders and develop some into skilled SK Coaches
  • Train leaders in communication and classroom management to be engaging weekend MC’s in the classroom

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Communicate with Campus Pastor, other team members, and SK Multisite Minister
  • Supports Campus Pastor, weekends, campus events, and the vision of the church
  • Respond to emails and texts
  • Attend SK staff meetings as requested

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous 2 years of ministry experience and/or experience working with children
  • Demonstrate ability to supervise, lead and shepherd volunteers
  • Strong servant leadership and people development skills and experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to proactively address needs
  • Proficient with MS Office, email, and social media
  • College degree preferred
