Saddleback Childcare provides safe and loving care for children while parents attend Lake Forest campus mid-week classes and events.  Our current program supports Wednesday morning women’s Bible studies and monthly Discover Your Purpose courses on Sundays.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Supervise and oversee the safety of children (birth through preschool) in the classroom and on the playground
  • Help small children with their needs such as changing diapers, potty-training, and feeding
  • Observe safe behaviors and correct harmful ones
  • Communicate with children and parents in a loving and caring way
  • Lead classroom activities such as Bible story time, crafts, worship songs
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize toys, chairs, tables, and floors of the rooms after use

WHO YOU ARE:

  • Experienced in caring for young children
  • Strong multi-tasking skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and lovingly with children, parents, and co-workers
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
  • Leaders will be required to become certified in First Aid and CPR upon hire
  • Flexibility with changing/shifting priorities
  • Supportive of Saddleback Church’s beliefs, culture, and values
  • Must be available Wednesday mornings

Saddleback Church’s pay philosophy is based on internal and external data for pay equity, along with budgetary considerations for effective stewardship. Pay will be provided at $16.00 per hour. We will provide a pay rate that is within our salary structure and that fits a candidate’s qualifications and experience for the job. A wage range posted is not a guarantee of a specific wage for a job offer.
