The Saddleback Berlin campus has an opening for a part-time (20hrs/week, including weekends) AVL Technician. This position provides support for weekend services and special events.
Primary Duties:
Lead, manage, operate, and set up for all technical aspects for in-person and online services as well as other special events needing technical support.
Ensure that all sounds, video, lighting, and audio/technical systems are functioning
Work closely with the Worship Leader and Campus Pastor to obtain the best look/feel for the weekend services.
Develop, care for, and lead a team of volunteers who can support the vision of the church through volunteer participation
Other duties as assigned
Experience & Qualifications
Must be fluent in German and English
Ability to run large format sound consoles
Ability to work weekend hours
Basic computer skills including email, Word, and social media
A flexible approach to changing priorities and duties
Demonstrate the ability to work with and lead a team
Experience in a service-oriented position and/or technical field is preferred
Team player who is comfortable with multiple and frequent interactions with staff, volunteers, and other ministries
